To join the club fill out a membership application and mail it to the club secretary at the address on the form. To obtain the application form, you can download it here as a PDF, you can send an e-mail to the club treasurer to get it by snail-mail, or stop by the field when members are present to pick one up.
To be a club member you must pay the initiation fee and annual membership dues (as specified on the application form), agree to abide by club rules, and also be a Full Open member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA)which provides insurance for model flying. If you join after the beginning of a calendar year dues are pro-rated for the remainder of the year. Once your membership is approved you will be given the lock combination to allow you access to field facilities.
Flight Training
Flying model aircraft is a challenging activity that requires developing some specific skills. If you have never flown a radio controlled model before we can provide instruction using your own airplane or the club trainer. Pilots with model flying experience will be required to be checked out by one of the club instructor pilots. Training program details can be found here.
